Infinity blade 2 best way to get money

Infinity Blade II is a fun iOS game that lets you vanquish villains for loot and more loot glory. And then it makes you spend the loot to upgrade your hero gear. More importantly, I've created a walkthrough with screencaps showing you treasure locations, including dozens of hidden ones that you may not have found.

But boo on game glitches! Let's get gold the awesome way, by playing the frickin' game. For example, there's always two moneybags under the far end of this bridge, but one magenta is invisible.

After each Rebirth, the prices of keys and the value of treasure chest contents rise, so this lets you keep ahead of inflation.

Leave one empty key slot, because it sucks to find a key when you're already maxed out with five. See Proph's Master Gem List for the maximum that each gem can be forged e. I don't buy many gems from the store -- apart from gold-boosting gems and the ingredients I needed for one Rainbow Gem see below -- instead, I save money and mostly stick to the gems I find along the way. There's one thing to keep in mind with gems you use: Forge together 3 gems of the same type to create a more powerful one of that type.

Many types of equipment have diamond-shaped slots for Perk Drop gems, so you can "stack" them and boost your chances of treasure quite a bit. Once you've got a Rainbow gem, you'll take a lot less damage, so you won't burn through healing potions and will survive battles more easily even when using non-healing rings.

More importantly, if you were like me, collecting several shields with different elemental protections to face different foes, you can sell all of them. So you may prefer other gems in those slots. Then you have to decide whether the gem's continued usefulness outweighs the cost. You can always change your mind and sell it later. You can Restart the Last Rebirth after Siris is killed by a regular monster not a boss like the Blood Sentinels , or by clicking the Infinity Blade icon at the top of the screen, then the Settings gear icon at right Supplies cost less in earlier Rebirths although chests and drops also yield less.

I've been known to reach for the LAST REBIRTH option, when I realize I need to restock my keys. This restart doesn't "reanimate" any of the bosses you may have killed; it just lowers costs and Titan stats slightly. Also, I think there's a higher frequency of treasure spawns in the earlier rebirths, although since each moneybag holds less, it may not help much.

In Settings, you can also Restart at Rebirth 1, which lets you keep all gold, XP and items and go back to the days of cheap keys and drops. This also resets the three seals and respawns all bosses. You replay the prologue, at the end of which your inventory is restocked with the cheapest sword, shield, helm, armor and ring but their resale value is about combined, so this isn't an effective gold farming method. Late in the game, Restart at Level 1 can be a valuable way to farm money: Once you've fought all three Blood Sentinels guarding all 3 seals, you proceed to the endgame.

Afterwards, the game cycles back to the beginning and starts from the prologue, except that Sirus' Rebirth is what it was for the endgame. Siris will have the same items except spare potions and levels he finished with, and all the bosses have reset. You can defeat them again and get XP and nice drops from them. If you've sold those items, you can buy them back at a steep price by going to that weapons class in the store and clicking the ALL button.

In the following slideshows, I've mapped all possible hotspots by Photoshopping together multiple screencaps of each location.

Easy Way to Make Money - Infinity Blade II Message Board for iOS (iPhone/iPad) - GameFAQs

You won't see a treasure spawn at every one of those spots during every Rebirth although lots of maxed-out Perk Drop Gems in your gear will help. Pan the camera around and check those locations. These may also appear in cutscenes, but they're usually easier to pick up when Siris isn't moving.

For these, you'll only have a second or two to pick them up. So, if you're following my walkthrough while playing, before you move Siris ahead, check the upcoming cutscene in my notes to see if there's any treasures marked orange.

Then you'll be ready to grab them if they're there. Either they're hidden in deep shadow, or they're behind something.

Click a few times in that general spot to see if one is there. Note that there may be two hidden treasures, one in front of the other, depending on where Siris is standing, so tap the same spot a few times. YOU CAN PAUSE THE GAME! While playing, you can click the sword-on-shield icon at the top of the screen to pause.

While using my walkthrough, pause as you leave a room so that you can read up on the next section. When you've been playing for a while, it's tempting to fast forward to the first fight. There's one or two treasure spawning spots even before the "Rebirth X" screen appears.

I'll be referring to "moneybags" a lot in this walkthrough, but of course, sometimes they're replaced by potions or keys. The Marsh was added to Infinity Blade II by the "Vault of Tears" update, and it's blocked off on your first run through. The first time through, you'll head straight to the Tower entrance, the next section. The Marsh becomes accessible after Siris deals with what's waiting at the top of the tower. Moneybags in the marsh are usually quite visible, but a few are concealed behind low rocks scattered nearby.

Also, as usual, there's a few money bags that only appear during the cutscene as Siris walks into the area. Once you've finished puttering around the base of that statue or investigating a treestump , that's all there is to the Marsh; climb up to rejoin the main path.

You're standing on a ruined dam in front of the Tower, where a friendly not Titan will greet you. There's more treasure here than you'd think, thanks to concealing rocks, tufts of grass and broken wall bits. I almost grouped these with the last slideshow, because that "entering the Tower" cutscene keeps going into this hallway.

You'll now be in a round courtyard with a fountain and three staircases: The right-hand one leads to a dead end with a treasure chest, a moneybag, and a Titan to fight.

Then you must choose: A left to the Arena and Underground areas, or B straight ahead towards the Clock Hallway and Archivist's hall? The divergent paths join up again on a balcony near the top of the tower. Once you've kitted out your armor with Gold Perk Drop Gems, you'll quickly grow to love all the moneybags cropping up at the top and bottom of nearly every stadium section.

There's up to three gold bags down around the perimeter of the arena floorpit; they're sometimes easier to spot from above. If you're new to Infinity Blade II, you may wonder why my screenshots show a big honking tree in the Arena. You'll have the option of climbing it once you've defeated the first Titan in the bottom of the arena that attacks you the four-legged monstrosity. However, I recommend waiting until after fighting the second Arena Titan: Climbing the Tree lands you in a golden hoard guarded by a boss, but bypasses the Underground route, with its Seal, "Large Key" treasure chest, two "Small Key" treasure chests, and two ordinary Titan battles.

More often, I take the Underground route, with more chances of weapons, armor, and gems from chests and end-of-battle drops. Climbing Gargap's Tree from the Arena nets you a large pile of gold, to be sure.

But in doing so, you miss the Underground Cavern. The Cavern route has a Large Key chest you'll come to treasure these later on , two Small Key chests, enough money bags that you won't miss the tree-stash much, and more foes to fight, which means more drops.

There's also the Seal on the far side of the bridge, with its usual boss battle. You can avoid this boss by hopping down from the bridge after fighting the guy on the bridge. This hallway is fairly straightforward, except that it's annoyingly easy to forget to open the two treasure chests, one on the left when you first step into the hall, and one on the right once you've moved forward and a Titan has dropped down to challenge you.

You must open this second chest before fighting the Titan.

If you forget until you've started the battle, you can click the Infinity Blade icon at the top of the screen, click Restart, and you'll be popped back to the hallway with the Titan waiting for you. Then you can go open the box. There's also an invisible money spawn spot in here. In most cases, invisible treasures are briefly visible in a cutscene or from some other position, but I've never caught sight of this one; I just know where to click to get the gold.

The Archivist's Room is annoying: Also, it's easy to click the "leave the room" hotspot by accident when you're reaching for a treasure. The first time you enter this room, you deal with a "Blood Sentinel. When leaving the Sealed Tomb, get ready to click to far left as soon as the cutscene changes to the balcony. See the "Balcony" section of my walkthrough for the exact spot.

infinity blade 2 best way to get money

There's a bag concealed behind a pillar that you can only reach during the cutscene; once he stops walking, the camera won't let you pan far enough left to reach back and get it. Three different paths converge here. The multiple approaches make this area a little complicated. Several money bags won't be in plain view, depending on where Siris is standing. However, if you know where they are, you can still pick them up by clicking on what's in front of them.

You can reach the yellow chest if you arrive on the outdoor part of the balcony -- whether you came from 1 the mountain path up from the Underground at lower right or 2 climbed up Gargap's Tree on the opposite side of the balcony.

For some reason, I tend to forget that chest when I arrive via the Tree. If you arrive in that hallway at the back of the balcony -- which is 3 where you come up from the Archivist's Room and Sealed Tomb area -- you can't reach any of the chests, but you can still pan left and collect all the moneybags on the balcony, concealed behind various columns, urns and other obstacles.

There's also a Black Key box just inside on the left as you enter. If you've got the money for Black Keys, this can be an end-of-level bonanza. You're eager to whump on whoever's at the top of the tower, but there's a few more goodies to grab first.

Most of them can only be picked up during the introductory cutscene as Siris is walking up here. As usual, a few are hidden behind pillars and such. There's an unlocked chest that you can open after fighting the Titan. However, the first time you come up here, Siris is too busy to give you a chance to open it.

Remember it on subsequent visits. Between whumping on monsters, collecting loot, and getting killed and reincarnated over and over, there's actually a complex world and mythology here. If you've timed it just right I can't do it, but the videos show it's possible , you'll get the "Sell your last Worn Axe?

At this point, the game gets confused and sells the cheap item at the price of the expensive weapon! Sign in or sign up and post using a HubPages Network account. Infinity Blade 2 Money Guide Updated on June 22, Tips for Getting Gold Faster Infinity Blade II is a fun iOS game that lets you vanquish villains for loot and more loot glory.

So here's my ten tips for raking in the gold in IB2 as efficiently as possible. General Infinity Blade II Money Tips - Good thing you have a bag of holding for all that gold TOP TIP: Click on obstacles like rocks to pick up gold hidden behind them.

You can vastly increase your money haul by checking concealed hotspots. Before you finish a Rebirth -- when you're about to fight a Blood Sentinel or whoever's at the top of the tower -- buy up to four keys of each type, starting with the most expensive you can afford and working your way down.

Try to have the Gem Forge working whenever possible or at least when you quit playing for the day. Notice which gems you use often; forge the rest into strong gems and sell them for big profits. If a drop is useful, it's one less thing you'll need to buy; if not, it's one more thing you can sell. These increase the amount of gold in each drop end of battle, inside a chest, random moneybags found along the way.

This gem protects you from elemental attacks fire, ice, water, wind, poison, dark, light. Hang onto or buy one each of defense gems for fire, ice, water, wind, and poison: Now and then you'll find gems that give you extra gold for scratches, slashes, stabs or combos. I stopped using gems that cause Siris to gain XP faster. The problem is, the faster he gains XP, the sooner he needs more gold in order to replace equipment he's mastered.

Sell weapons and armor after you've mastered them, unless There are ways to back up if monster difficulty or key costs are outstripping your skills or gold supply. Infinity Blade Money Walkthrough - Here's my ugly diagram of Infinity Blade Rooms Start of Walkthrough - Treasure Spawn Spots: Infinity Blade II Start Screen.

Keys are often really hard to see, so it's a good idea to poke every hotspot just in case. Treasure Locations Slideshow - Click for full-sized pics plus notes Click thumbnail to view full-size. Pan up to nab the top bag if it's there.

You can't turn around to get these later. After Siris stops moving, pan right and check these three spots. Notice how camouflaged the key is, even in bright daylight quite close to you.

While the Titan any enemy but a boss waits patiently, pan left. If you can't find the hidden one, it'll be visible as Siris is leaving.

Before leaving, pan around to double-check for missed treasure, and open the chest the Titan was blocking. As Siris leaves and heads downhill, you'll have a second or two to grab the bag that was hidden before. Oops, I forgot to grab that potion earlier. I'm still not sure I've found all the treasures down here -- there's so many! Click thumbnail to view full-size. As Siris enters the Marsh, this very visible moneybag is sometimes poking up through the grass.

The ones on the right Siris' left are not reachable once he stops walking; grab them now. The red one can be reached by panning after he halts. Once Siris stops, pan right.

Only one or two of these will show up in any given playthrough; I've compiled several screencaps. Note the sneaky one! Now pan all the way left.

Again, I've composited several screencaps; you won't see all of these on the same run. The bags hiding in the shadows of these two rocks are hard to spot, since they're half behind the rocks.

Also, that arrow points to It's not always there, but when it is, it's easy to miss. Now fight the Titan and open the free treasure chest.

Those two bags are visible from other vantage points, so don't worry if you miss them here. Now you'll have two choices, go left and fight that boss if you haven't defeated it or right. Either could have treasure, so pick one.

If you go left towards the treestump, stop and look around; you might get lucky and spot this next to you. If you go right towards the base of that tall statue with the lady holding a sword, watch for this bag: I haven't spotted it from any other angle.

There's something interesting at the base of the statue, but first, turn around and check these treasure spawning spots.

Now check the statue base. Remember, you can pick things up even if they're behind something, such as that raised wall. The two moneybags in the last shot are more visible if you step up to the Infinity Blade socket but I haven't managed to screencap the left one. Front Entrance of Tower - Treasure: Treasure Locations Click thumbnail to view full-size.

If you didn't grab them during the cutscene, you can get these three before or after fighting the Titan. Click far left to get the one just offscreen. After the fight, walk forward.

Be ready to snatch: There's two chests-- one needs a Small Key-- and up to four treasures. Moneybags and keys leftmost spot are well camouflaged here. There's a few more moneybags hidden by that wall on the right. When you start to enter the castle, this treasure may be just barely visible Even once you pick it up I sometimes get a second treasure clicking around the grass where that key is.

The right-hand bag you probably picked up 3 screencaps ago. The Brazier Hallway - Maximum Treasures: Entrance to Sarantha Tower. So be ready to grab the treasure on the right as you step inside.

Brazier Hallway Treasures - Just a few in here Click thumbnail to view full-size. As you enter, reach first for the orange one. You can reach the others by panning after Siris halts, but the one in the brazier is all but invisible. A Titan drops down. This bag is also visible in another cutscene as you're moving around the next area, but it's easiest to pick it up here. Once Siris stops moving, you can turn around to pick up the two you might've missed.

Unless it's a potion, it'll be very hard to see. Unlock the "Medium Key" chest after fighting the Titan, then go ahead. You can grab this bag while moving, or after you exit the hallway and reach The Dragonslayer Fountain Courtyard - Maximum Treasure: But before we go anywhere, let's grab all the loot here. During the cutscene into the courtyard, you get a brief glimpse of one or two treasures behind the fighter statue's fluttering cloak.

If you miss them during the cutscene, poke around the fighter's foot. There may also be bags hidden behind his hand, spear, or the dragon's tail.

Pan left and right to collect any remaining moneybags sitting on the ends of the staircase bannisters Always visit the staircase on the right side of the courtyard, leading to a dead end with an easy-to-spot moneybag, chest, and random encounter. Usually I head left to the Arena. But if you go straight up the main stairs, there may be a bag at the top, which was behind the fighter's hand The Arena - Maximum Treasure: Ah, the arena, where money really does grow on trees.

As Siris enters the arena, a cutscene ensues. You can actually pick up the ones marked orange later, but this is the only time they're visible. If you missed it during the cutscene, pan right as far as you can and explore that lower righthand corner.

Then open the chest, grab the bags in view. That bag that was on the bleachers just to the right of Siris in the cutscene is hidden once the scene ends, but you can find it by poking the grass. Fight the Titan, double check that you haven't missed anything up here, then jump down into the arena. Pan right and check for this hard-to-spot bag. Sometimes there's a moneybag to the right of the behemoth's gate.

Also, there's sometimes INVISIBLE money hidden among those boards. You can wait and grab the bag among the boards after the second Titan fight, a better camera angle. I usually don't climb the tree, because it bypasses the Underground area, including two Small Key boxes and a Large Key box. But if I'm low on keys I climb up to say hello to Gargap. Who is dozing in a nest of TWENTY BAGS OF GOLD.

Gargap's Tree - Treasure: Rebirth, the tree becomes big enough to climb. Of course, you should climb the tree at least once to meet its inhabitant. Quick Walkthrough Click thumbnail to view full-size. Reach for the bag on the left first it's hard to see , since the rest of the money can be collected when the cutscene's over. Say hello to Gargap, dozing in a nest of TWENTY moneybags. He'll wake up while you're collecting them, but you keep them even if he kills you.

If you survive the battle, you'll be able to collect any you missed at your leisure. Pan far left and right to make sure you've found them all. Then click the exit hotspot. To make sure you're paying attention, there's one more moneybag that ONLY appears during this cutscene as Siris leaves. You'll wind up on the balcony. That treasure on the near side of the stairs may be reachable once the cutscene ends, but it's only visible now.

After fighting that Titan, open the "Medium Key" treasure chest and pick up visible and hidden treasures before leaving this spot. Also, if you pan all the way right and down, you'll be able to pick up these two treasures if they've spawned. The Underground Cavern - Maximum Treasure: During the cutscene as Siris is entering the cavern, click on both urns. One moneybag's visible, the other two spawn locations hidden behind the urns. There are always 2 moneybags under the bridge, but one is in shadow.

There's another hidden spawn spot behind the Titan. See 2 screencaps ahead. Open the Large Key chest before fighting anybody. You'll have another chance to pick up the treasures below if you miss them here. As the "chest opening" animation ends, you'll also get a glimpse of the two bags that were marked in magenta on the far end of the bridge, above. If you've defeated the Seal's guardian Blood Sentinel , check out the Seal area before jumping off the bridge.

There's often a bag by the steps This one's easy to see if it's a potion, nearly impossible if it's gold. There's sometimes a money bag to the right of the Seal altar. Once you've checked it, there's nothing else to see here, so go ahead and jump down Here's the other ground floor treasure that was visible while opening the LK chest above.

This one is accessible after Siris halts by panning right. Before fighting the critter down here, unlock the "Small Key" box, then nab these two bags, which are ALWAYS here, but hard to see. After fighting the turtle monster, leave the cavern.

Up to five money bags are visible during the mountain trail cutscene It's easier to grab the topmost moneybag after the cutscene finishes; you can pan the camera to pick up the others, too. Also, unlock the green box. The Clock Hallway - Treasure: Clock Hallway Walkthrough - click thumbs for zooms plus notes Click thumbnail to view full-size.

Just as Siris enters, the camera shows this view for only moment. Grab this bag if it's there; you can't pan the camera enough to reach it later. Grab this obvious bag, then, before taking another step forward Then pan up and right to check these two spots for treasure. THEN you can move forward. But get ready, because You might be able to guess where it is once he halts, but grab it now. When the Titan drops down and waggles its weapon, WAIT!

Turn right and open the "small key" chest. You can't reach it after the fight. After the fight, check for these two bags at the end of the hall. The top one's hard to see. Last but not least, There's sometimes a bag of hidden gold about where that crack and beam intersect. I think it's actually this bag, which is only visible the first time you enter this hallway, before the stair under the clock has fallen into ruin. The Archivist's Room - Maximum Treasures: Archivist Room Walkthrough - Stop walking and let me pick things up, dangit!

Just as Siris enters, you get a brief glimpse of a treasure bag in front of him usually , which you can grab if you're quick. The one to its left And you get a second chance to pick up the first bag, if you missed it. Then grab this one, which is only reachable now, while he's walking. It's the second treasure location from the left in this view. You can grab these three bags before or after fighting the Titan that shows up.

Pan all the way left to open the Large Key Chest, if you can afford to. You can grab that one on the floor now, or wait until you jump down. Before jumping, get ready! The right-hand of these two spawn spots is only visible during the cutscene. The other, you can pan back to Also grab the one or two flanking the monolith that you may have spotted from above.

Turn left to grab the one to the left of the door. Be careful with these two; it's easy to hit the "Exit" hotspot before you mean to. If the Archivist is there, get ready to pounce on this spot before challenging him.

I've only discovered treasure here while he's talking. The Balcony - Maximum Treasure: The balcony is a lovely area dominated by a beautiful red tree. That all sounds very confusing! Let me show you. When you arrive on the balcony from the mountain path, there's three bags within reach before you fight the Titan; one is concealed behind the tree.

Here's that bag behind the tree. It's visible barely when Siris bends down to open the treasure chest. If you've arrived on the balcony via Gargap's Tree, pan all the way to the right and check these two spawn spots.

The chest won't open. If Siris reaches the balcony from Gargap's Tree, several hotspots are in view that are concealed from the other entry points. Learning the spawn spots from the last screencap enabled me to spot this hard-to-see moneybag when coming up from the mountain trail.

If you're coming up from the Tomb, as soon as Siris emerges here, QUICKLY tap far left to get the bag shown in the last screencap. If you don't get a chance to pick up this bag before the cutscene ends Check the other spots, too, for the 2 bags around the tree, the 2 flanking the stairs, and 1 on the balcony. Finally, grab the obvious bags in this hallway at the back of the balcony. The door at the Titan's back leads to the Mech Room. If you go that way The "exit" cutscene gives you one last chance to try for bags on the balcony outside that you may have missed.

If you leave via the right-hand door instead, you bypass the Mech Room and MX-Goliath boss and end up in a small round room: The open staircase leads up to the top of the tower. There are a few treasure spawn spots behind that door, but I'm gonna avoid giving you spoilers.

The Mech Room - Maximum Treasure: The first time you come here, you fight this guy. This room is pretty straightforward, but there's still a few concealed spawn spots to check. Mech Room Treasure Spawn Spots - A few more before the end of the level Click thumbnail to view full-size. The entrance to the mech room is guarded by this toad who won't let you grab that well-camouflaged money pouch until you fight him. Grab this bag as you step into the room after the cutscene finishes, you can pick it up by panning right.

Pan all the way left for the chest, grab moneybags on the urns and between the arches, then A moneybag there is invisible. Again, note the potion's location so you can check for hard-to-see moneybags there. And the other moneybag sitting out on that beam is ALWAYS there. There's two obvious spawn spots to the right, but when it's a key, it's hard to see.

Machinery hides a possible third treasure. When you leave the room, those three spawn spots are more obvious, but not visible long since he's moving. Top of the Tower - Treasure: Gold at the Top of the Tower - Don't forget to buy keys before next Rebirth jacks prices Click thumbnail to view full-size. First you see Siris walking between two spawn spots.

You'll only have a moment to click them, and I don't think you can reach them later. Then the camera swings out. Look for the bag out on that spoke first; you'll be able to reach the way-up-high one when the cutscene ends. The camera zooms back in and circles the perimeter of the circular courtyard. Keep clicking here; there's often 1 or 2 bags hidden by those pillars.

After the cutscene ends, pan left and check these spots That bottom one is the same in the last screencap. Turn right to collect your prize from the unlocked chest. Buy any keys you can before the price goes up, then it's on to the next Rebirth. Anyway, read the novels to find out what the heck is going on. Infinity Blade 2 Money Cheat - I'd rather do it the old-fashioned way 1. Have a cheap mastered item in your inventory.
