New Vegas Whats a good way to make a lot of caps? Just collect guns and armor and sell them - it will add up quickly. Get to Novac and get the discount at the shop - that guy pays nearly full price if you have Barter up at Barter is a skill i rarely touched before, but the one Legion general at the camp transfer place, at the pier has a sweet helmet but you have to have a barter of 32 IIRC and i wanted that: D Join the Resistance!

Yep - in this game, Barter and Speech are very good skills to have beefed up - I decided to not raise any skill above 80, because a handy magazine can always give you that final 20 if you need it in a pinch, so that saves skill points to spread around more.
Having a high speech can get you through a LOT of areas and quests much more quickly.

FreeMan FreeMan 4 years ago 8 you can find Aurelius in cottonwood cove , he give you 10 caps per tag or with a barter ,severus trade some ammo or food, but this is not the best part is the fame idolized i recommend getting dtags in one go, then give it to them in 5 quantities cause apparently the game dont register properly , once you get "like" now you can trade the rest in one go, the idolized screen will pop up, travel to the scrapyard, a frumentari approach from north, giving you the quest , the 10 boxes is located near sniper nest making the travel must easy why idolized?
